John Trustman is a pioneer and leader in the design, development, and operation of entrepreneurial to enterprise-scale businesses spanning numerous industries with a concentration in healthcare, financial services, and technology. John’s professional focus has been in strategy and technology, and frequently on the intersection of the two. John’s technical focus is in applied behavioral game theory and computational linguistics where he holds a  variety of patents ranging from movement disorder diagnosis and brainwave analysis to natural language processing (NLP) based high volume transaction processing.

Prior to joining Acropolis, John worked with Bill and Peter at Bain and Company and at EY-Parthenon. He has collaborated with Bill on the development of the Full Potential Paradigm™ (FPP™) since its inception. Heading a team of a half dozen in the US and two dozen in India, John and the team crafted the analytic components of the framework behind FPP™, built the software tools to facilitate the analysis, and completed over 500 analyses across close to a hundred industries over the course of seven years.

John's extensive background has alternated between careers in technology, as an industry executive, and as a consultant. John served as Chief Technology Officer of a diverse group of companies. He was the founder and CTO at HealthEdge, which is now the leading provider of AI based healthcare claims adjudication. His JIBO AI personal health companion was featured as one of Time Magazine's "25 Best Inventions of the Year" in 2017. He was CTO at pioneering companies offering medical credentialing, time driven / activity-based costing for hospitals, and multi-faceted, multi-dimensional search across a range of consumer product categories. He has been Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Aetna Health Plans, Fidelity Investment's Mutual Fund Group, and the United States Trust Company. 

John has published in a variety of journals from the Harvard Business Review to CIO Magazine. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and a BA from Yale.
